AI is revolutionising the workplace and is transforming how businesses operate. We’re in the early stages of adoption and AI will highlight significant gaps particularly in training.
Businesses need to adapt to ensure they are not left behind in the rush to adopt AI. They will need to take steps to keep employees engaged and make sure they have the right skills. It is important that businesses do not fall for hype and use the wrong AI tools. They should identify areas where AI can add value and then implement targeted solutions. There are a number of factors:
- Early stage of adoption: businesses need to embrace now
- Training employees to improve outputs
- AI can assist employees with disabilities
- More jobs created by AI than lost
